Good day gentlemen
I am the proud owner of a new 2019 F SD 350. 38,000 miles..My first.
Little history. DEF/EX/EMISS DELETE.
Me being a newbie, i topped off the DEF. Now it is continuously trickling out of the open line from the DEF tank. And covering the underbody..
Will it stop at some point. Pressure equalizing...
Im Assuming there is no need to add def or have it in the tank.
Thanks all
No, you don't have to put DEF in an emissions deleterd truck. It will stop dripping once all of it has drained. The white crystals should easily rinse off with plain water. I'd rinse often as it can be corrosive.
And, that DEF spilling out of there will wreak havoc on any unprotected metal, corrode it very quickly if you don't wash it off immediately.
Then drain the DEF tank so it doesn't spill out any more.
