I love my 97 Ford Ranger(aside from a few problems)
Any help would be great!
Just recently my engine started to whine all the time. I thought it might be something to do with the change in temp. but I think now that it might be more. she used to purr like a kitten but not anymore. Any Ideas? I've checked my manual but nothing, a mechanic friend of mine said could be the timing belt. But I have no idea seeing as how I'm kinda fresh when it comes to major repairs. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for the reply ken, it sounds line a moan and it follows the acceleration and deceleration. as of yesterday the check engine light came on as well as the engine dies unless I have my foot on the gas. it stops stalling as soon as the engine warms up. any help would be appreciated.
