351C Myth Buster
HA!
I finally needed to tow something with my truck.
351C-4V with AOD tranny in 67 F100.
I towed the car for about 250 miles in the dark and rain.
Seldom could I even tell it was there. It towed just fine and
was definately better for towing than my old 90 Ford F150 with 351W and three thousand times better than my 70 F100 with 302. I think it was about the same towing comfort as my old 98 Dodge PU (which towed good).
I'm sure there are many better tow vehicles and engines for those who tow alot. But it certainly tows fine for those occasional tow trips.
