In Park & Neutral there should be no drive through the trans. No clutches or band should be applied. Try re-centering the manual shift valve by adjusting the shift linkage:
Wheels chocked, parking brake ON. Engine off, put it in Drive. Go under the truck and loosen the adjusting nut on the shifter arm. Click the shifter arm on the trans 1 click forward, 1 back. So it is back in Drive, using the detent that is inside of the trans. Go back up to the cab, and verify that the shift selector up there is solidly in the Drive position. Then without moving anything, tighten the adjusting nut.
Now that the manual valve is for sure centered, see if it wants to pull in Park, or Neutral. If it still does, you have bigger problems.
