Hi , I have a 2000 Ranger 4.0. I'm getting a misfire on #1 cylinder for the 3rd time this year. I have an ob2 reader and am using Forscan light app. I get a #1 cylinder misfire and changed the spark plug and wire. It ran fine for a few weeks and started to miss again. Second time I changed all plugs and wires. Truck ran great for 2-3 months. Today it's the same issue, I changed the #1 plug and it's running fine. The plug I took out looks kind of white. Any thoughts? Thanks
More information on engine. The engine is a Jasper reman with 20,000 miles on it. New plugs, wires, cats. 02 sensors 20,000 on them.
Yesterday I put a freebie coil pack on. The truck runs fine and plugged in the ob2 and got a code po102-p and po102 low MAF voltage. I'm going to do a compression test and then will be looking at fuel injectors after figuring out the low MAF voltage. MAF voltage reads 0.79 volts. Thanks
