2018 intercooler pipe replacement

Hey guys and gals, I have a 18 f350 with a 6.7 that has a hole in the intercooler hose. (Correct name?) Should I be looking in to any additional issues this hole could have caused, should I be worried I dusted something?

Seems like they are backordered from ford, and I'm going to have to look for aftermarket. I live in Canada and I can't seem to find any that aren't really expensive. Anyone know of any decent priced ones that have decent quality that won't break the bank?

Thanks.

There's not much cheap metal ones on the aftermarket yet for the 2017+. But I did come across this one on ebay.

Some more options:

I just did the upgrade on my '11 - both hot and cold. The Rudys kit for both is what I installed. There are a couple threads here recently on kit recommendations and the hot side install. I realize there are some changes between '16 and '17 so the parts probably aren't interchangeable. However, there may be some technical tricks to getting the couplers/boots on that might be useful to you:

Just posted this in my truck thread...

In the meantime I'd try Gorilla Tape. Pull the hose and clean that area and the hose 360 degrees around it. Gorilla Tape the snot out of it... And see if it holds until you figure out what you're going with. That gorilla tape is tough stuff..

I finally got home so i could get some good internet to check this product out. Product looks great, the shipping to Canada is horrendous. Too bad because it is exactly what I need, but there is no way I am paying 130 bucks (cad) to ship a hose up here.

That sucks man... You should see if you could buy a tire tube patch kit, clean the hose to do it and then wrap Gorilla tape around the hose to hold it together until you get a replacement hose in.

Just this morning I got lucky and found a Canadian dealer that had one. 140 bucks cad shipped to my door. It'll likely tear again in another 150,000 kms but hopefully by then I can find an aftermarket one for a decent price up here!
