Van runs great, no loss of power, codes, other issues...it does have a constant ticking you can hear at idle/when standing by it...I'm thinking a lifter 🤷♂️
Your HLAs are having issues?
You running the correct 5-30 oil? (what year)??
If took to a dealer with that complaint, They would change your oil and put a Motocraft filter on it, then reevaluate
If still ticking, it gets valve covers off for a cam and follower inspection followed by HLA replacement
How many miles will be in the discussion somewhere (its costly to remove the cams and replace the HLAs)

HLA?
Backgrlund: I just bought the van at auction. And again, runs great! I just got it back from my Ford Dealer...they did an oil change, rotated tires, checked belts, hoses, etc. No issues. Said the noise is internal and they'd have to dissamble to identify/resolve the ticking.
Run it forever with it ticking
Put an engine in it in about ten more years and 300k more miles
They can run for quite a while with one or several HLAs ticking
If it starts missing... You might need to do something
Run it
That's what they said right?
