2023 F150 Wait Time

I've been trying to get an idea of the wait time for my F-150, finally got a welcome notice from Ford today.

My order went in on 27 July 2022. I have a scheduled production date of the week of 17 Oct 2022. Mines a hybrid platinum.

Share your timeline here to give others an idea of when they can expect their 2023 truck to get to them.

I ordered my f150 from the dealer on 9/23 and received the order confirmation email from Ford on 9/27. I'm ordering a 5.0 XL 4x4 Screw HDPP. I'm curious if the HDPP has any impact on order scheduling?

***update*** On 9/29 I received the highly coveted "Your vehicle is scheduled for production" email from Ford. Scheduled to be build the week of 11/7. In my mind I would have assumed that the HDPP would have delayed things as Ford would have waited to get enough of those orders to justify putting them on the line. What a pleasant surprise. Alas, I am both expecting and prepared for the bla bla bla "...your production date has been delayed" update as well.

I ordered a Supercrew 6.5' bed with 5.0 v8 Platinum trim 4x4, Max Tow etc. on 8/8. Got my Ford order confirmed email on 8/9 and then got the sorry supply chain delays continue to affect production but promise to update you at least every 45 days on 9/26.

In my head, I'm personally thinking it's going to be early spring 2023 or later!

I've been in production for 79 days now??? Ordered 2/24. Currently showing 1899 modules. Anyone else with a limited able to confirm how many modules your truck has. Ford Chat says chip hold. I can see the truck in FordPass App and complete activation in truck. Not sure why it has not moved to build?

9/20/2022 - Ordered through Granger Ford
9/20/2022 - Ford confirmed order
9/29/2022 - Got email with VIN, scheduled for production week of 11/7.

5.0 4X4 Lariat SuperCrew 6.5', 360° cameras, max trailer tow.

Chip from Granger mentioned that those with the Co-Pilot Active system will have a longer lead time due to the required chip for BlueCruise.

UPDATE:
Got an email stating that heated steering wheel and heated mirrors won't be available.

Truck shows 'in production' as of 11/2, but originally schedule for week of 11/7. Hoping that means it is actually moving along.

Good luck! I ordered a 2022 King Ranch almost a year ago. It was to be built 09/05. It’s been moved… again with no end in sight.
The F150 Tremor forums are reporting options being deleted, like heated steering wheels, navigation, heated seats, etc. Lincoln is deleting massaging seats. Either Ford will have me wait for another year, or I’ll get an XLT with King Ranch badges.

Ordered a 2023 Tremor High...no blue cruise, no heated steering wheel, no auto start/stop (thank you for this blessing Ford...ha ha).

Order placed on Oct 11.
My dealer received confirm from Ford via the customer order verification program on Oct 18th.
I have not yet received anything directly from Ford.

I’m curious, looks like in most of the previous replies everyone is getting the 5.0 V8. Wondering if there is more of an issue with the 3.5 since the ones getting the 5.0 seem to be having fairly short wait times, so to speak that is. I’ve also seen that the higher the trim level, the longer the wait as well.

Nice, someone who's been waiting longer than me. Nice to have company. Yours is a 5.0, mine is a PB, so ostensibly that's not the delay reason?

Today flipped from ‘in production’ to ‘built’
I am awaiting shipment.
I hope that means no holds.
I wanted it for a some Thanksgiving break driving- so I am sure it will come the week after Thanksgiving.

We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Just wanted to give you an update on the status of your F-150KING RANCH® order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of October 24, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.

This is frustrating, we get it. We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it. And we will continue to work hard to reduce the delays to try to get you on the road in your new vehicle soon.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we get more information, at least once every 45 days. Hang in there. We really do appreciate your patience and understanding.

Now 11/4 AMGreat news! Your 2023 F-150KING RANCH® SuperCrew has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment.

Our current estimate for delivery to Marshall Ford is be‍tween November 17, 2022 an‍d November 23, 2022.
What a roller coaster ride!
