I finally got the truck I've wanted since I was 15 = 1968 F-100 Ranger Lunar Green + Wimbledon White. One of my professors from college bought it from the original owner in 1971. I saw him at a reunion last month and he reminded me that I told him 22 years ago that if he ever sold it, I wanted it. I did not hesitate.
The camper was custom built by the original owner, and while charming, I plan on removing it to free up the bed. Some of the chrome molding has come off, but I have the pieces and will reattach. Don't plan on painting it. Will be used as a farm truck.
What I know: remanufactured 360 with 18K miles. Holley dbl does not like the ethanol. 4-on-the-floor transmission in good shape. No disc brakes, no power steering.
