93 heat/cool control issue

93 heat/cool control issue
Switched it over to heat this morning, now that I try to switch it back to cool the **** will not turn all the way to max cool. Any ideas? Bout a quarter left to turn to make it to max cool. Thanks

I have an 86 and it has sliders for the controls, so not much help here.
Iam guessing the newer trucks have a rotating switch, and maybe it jambed
inside on the contacts.
Can you pull the **** off and get to it? IDK.
Some have a nut behind the **** and it pushes in.
Can you unscrew the control assembly and pull it forward?
Is yours similar to this one?
