Skates
I am looking to move my 1970 bronco into my freshly built polebarn to begin working on it. I would like to be able to move the bronco around and out of the way when I am not working on it. Has anybody purchased a set of skates for moving your bronco around? If so, please offer some good choices and ones to avoid purchasing.
Thank you,
John
Go-Jack makes the Best skates IMHO, but they are excessively expensive. What I did was years ago I purchased 1 pair because I was in immediate need, but then I mad my own and used caster wheels that were rated at 225 lbs each and had roller bearings inside..... that is the criteria (IMHO) to having a good set of skates and why the "cheap" ones are worthless (no bearings)

With this style NO jack needed, but needs to have tires on it. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...2550_200612550
And if you are at Northern Tool look at this. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...0071_200940071
Or Cat off road jack. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...36429_20093642
Or same jack as above just more $.
Avoid cheap, or cheapest on Amazon or Harbor Freight skates (car dolly).
