I just joined but I've been "lurking" for a few years now. Maybe a tad impolite, but I'm more that guy just a little off to the side. Not saying much but always has the tool you're going to need, in hand and ready to pass to you just as soon as you realize you need it. I'll help if asked but I won't do it for you.
I used to be an ASE cert. mechanic but let it lapse when I got out of the rat race and started working for myself. I've had more than a few Fords over the years, currently it's eleven .A '72 F800 boom truck w/ a 361 in it. An '84 F100 w/a straight 6cyl 300 project truck, a '99 F350 soon to be a dump bed on it and a v10 under the hood.An '05 F250 diesel problem child. (maybe a diesel in Alaska wasn't the best idea) and a fleet of E350's in various years but all with the 5.3L and only minor differences between them, but those differences always seem to cause me a little grief. LOL
That's probably more than enough of an intro. Gotta hold something back so I can keep that air of mystery. :-)
