After reading the "You know you drive a dent ..........", mention was made about a mid '80s Bronco intermittent wiper switch being used in a former regular non intermittent Dent, sounded interesting. I looked at RA, they list both types for my '77, but the intermittent one has a separate ground wire. Terminals look the same, switch otherwise looks the same. I can understand ground wire for a heater type timer.
Query ... Anyone else tried this?
I'm thinking about it, think it'd be better than a separate add on wiper delay control.

You do know that intermittent wipers were a factory option during at least some of the dentside productions years?
And those use the separate module as well. It plugged into the factory switch, but the timing module was separate.
You had to have the interconnect harness but it was relatively easy plug-and-play.
My 79 had one from the factory and I picked one out of a 78 or 79 to put in my old bronco.
Are the 80 and newer models supposed to be better?
And I’m sure I’ll have a forehead slapping moment, but who is RA?
I used a module and switch out of an 80's truck and it worked fine. The only issue that I had was that the washer pump wouldn't work with the new setup. I searched online and found with certain years, you had to reconfigure the pins (they are removable). Once I switched one or two wires (too long ago to remember) to different locations, everything works fine now.
Middle 80's XLT's came with them standard. If you have a pick and pull, I check them all. If **** rotated counterclock wise your golden. Wire as WYRM if washer don't work Switch, T harness and module. Don't drop the module. This and cruise are great swaps. Not just the Broncos, the pickups on XLTs.

I have an aftermarket kit with a module I had bought long long ago, then lost in a cabinet and forgot about. I have re-found it, it'snever been opened so I don't know what's in the kit, but for my uses, it might be the way I go.
