They can somehow clone your fob and/or plug something into your OBD port. I’m not sure. There wasn’t any broken glass. Thieves are smart. I had a LoJack on it and I gave the cops the last known address but nada. LoJack was unable to send a signal to the truck so they defeated that, too. Note that I didn’t know it was stolen for two days based on LoJack data. It’s a sad deal…only had 8k miles and was flawless. I think I’ll have a Ravelco installed on my next one. I wouldn’t be near as upset about losing it if I could just run down to the Ford house and pick up a new one.
Sorry to hear that Sir.

Houston has been turned into an extremely violent and criminally emboldened place.

HPD knows where the chop shops are, but there is ZERO incentive to raid any of them.

How would you log all the disassembled inventory? How would you transport it? WHO is going to LOAD all that stuff? What would THAT cost, and worst yet, most if not all of it has already been paid for by the insurance company, who paid the claim and probably doesn't have the personnel to mess with a crime scene like that and at the end of the day doesn't want to see it again.

I have personally gone with an officer in a different sector years ago on a tour of chop shops as we stopped a MARKED unit outside an operational chop shop and noone broke and ran. Some started sort of casually walking towards the back of the site, but there was no 'THERE'S THE COPS" moment. We went past several more that doubled as drug distribution centers for dope coming from Laredo that the officer warned me had armed lookouts and guaranteed me we would take immediate incoming effective fire if we proceeded up the road any further.

.......and that was "back in the day"... The good ol days, before anarchy...

TODAY.....we're just pieces of ripe fruit waiting for some thug to come put the squeeze on us and Houston is an epicenter of it.

Your truck was in a million pieces before you even knew it was gone. Rest assured that there was nothing you could have done. And sorry about the medical stuff. If you're getting treated in Houston, you've got world class medical care that will help you....in between the warfare on the street below.. Keep up the fight!!

You’re 1000% correct about Houston. We lived and worked here for decades and, while it provided us a good living, it was good to retire and move to a lake in East Texas. We now only come here when we need to, mainly for the medical facilities. I appreciate your concern. Many thanks!

We're a long ways from Bum Phillips, Derrick Dolls, Gilley's, big oil and Blue Angels doing acrobatics out of Ellington AFB.

That lake in east Texas sounds like a fine spot....

I'll be out there with you with a fishin pole within the next two years and I wont be leaving anything back here..

Dont feel bad, there is a paddle for everyone's *** when they act up, thats the business cycle. With ford jumping on liberal ideas and bending over for them going all electric. Tech isn't there, not even feasibly possible with our grid system, and they sh@t canned all the cars amd want to start with the suvs! Dropping millons of dollars into green cars. They will fold again like in 2008 but worse with no recovery unless owned by the government. (Which is exactly what the government wants to buy them out), and be screaming for business. Ultimately the only thing to evolve out of ford, GM, and ram os the trucks only. Its going to happen just a matter of when!

Yes in Canada. Sticker was 114000 but they kept order price of 110000 for me plus taxes spray liner 3m mud-flaps etc. Also adding airlift spring suspension.

So around $85,000 American dollars.

Times are tuff at present. Probably best if possible to hold off on getting new truck if some options could be missing due to supply chain. 🤔

About the only thing keeping me from getting a GMC HD now is that they don’t offer massaging seats and adaptive cruise control, even on the Denali trim level. Now I see that Ford is deleting the WiFi hotspot and now the massaging seats. If those features aren’t available when the ‘23 order books come out, I’m gone. Loved my ‘21 SD, but c’mon Ford. Ridiculous.
So the massaging seats are a deal breaker for you?

Honestly, I think you did OK at MSRP with the earlier pricing held. ....I also think it's great that they got the truck to you and plan on installing the winch when it's available rather than hold the truck up waiting for it. 6 months is pretty good these days. I understand the disappointment with the lack of the massage seats but try to enjoy your brand new, awesome Tremor.

Maybe it's only because I've never had massage seats, but I wouldn't order them anyhow......my 2021 Range Rover, 2021 Audi SQ8 and 2020 BMW Z4 M40i don't have massage seats either......I'm old enough to remember when power steering and power brakes were a luxury! ...and even now, I'm happy with heated seats; heated and cooled is top of the heap for me.

2 cents,
Dave
Dave, just wanted to add my $.02 to yours, I had ordered my truck and waited over a year to receive it, Ford removed the spay in bed liner and fifth wheel hitch on my build. If the seats would've been deleted as well, I probably would've walked from the deal. These seats are a game changer for us older folks that may have worked ALOT harder than smarter than some of the younger ones. If you get a chance give em a try, like I said before, GAME CHANGER.

Yeah, I think so. Really enjoyed them on my ‘21. Honestly, at this point it’s about the only thing holding me back from getting a GMC. ‘23 Denalis are hitting the dealerships very soon.

Personally, I hope I never want or need a truck with massage seats.
