Brakes Pulsating
Here's something that I havee encountered just recently. When I'm heading down the road on a flat surface (Blacktop thus far) and I lightly press the brake pedal. it shakes the ba-jesus out of the truck. it's done this to me twice. but it doesn't happen when I stab the breaks, or heading up or down hills. Only on an even/flat surface. I wouldn't think that the ABS would kick in so dramatically at such light pressures. Could this be the sigh of warping? I hope not. and I almost rule that out because it's only done it 2 times and it hasn't been consistantly in the same place. I'm still under warranty and running stock drive train, tires and brakes still with lots of life on them at 40k. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Maybe a sign of wheel bearings! any kind of play is not good.
Abs is a suttle pulsation ,different from rotor warpage.

i had my rotors "turned @ 60K Miles and around 90k they needed to be replaced. A Ford parts mgr guy that I know (works @ autozone now ) told me that the factory rotors suck anyway....
