More rust
Anybody else having a rust issue on their doors? At the bottom behind the rubber seals. Took the rubber off and ground out the grundge and repainted. I'm leaving the seals off to see what happens. So far it has snowed and the street crews have dumped their salt and sand. A small amount of sludge has reached the bottom of the doors but it just wipes off at the car wash. The old rubber seals just ground the sand into the paint so the salt could reach the wound and start the rusting process. Haven't really seen a purpose for those seals other than maybe a noise damper..........
