‘60 window conversion

Hey folks, I’m planning on doing a window conversion on my rare ‘60 f-250 4x4 it came upgraded from the factory with every option except the large rear window and the heavy duty tall front bumper (I’m sure there’s a specific name for it that I’m not aware of) anyway, does anyone know if you can do it without having to have another cab? Everything I’m reading says you have to have another cab that had the large rear window to do some cutting and re-welding. If I had the dimensions, do you think I could get a really good welder to get it done right?

If you have the money and the time you can get anything done.

The easiest way might be cutting one from another cab, but they might be available now. Here is some reading for you: 1960 big back window swap - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com)
