I have actually been around for a while, gleaning info from different threads as I work on my truck. I need to clean up my shop so I need to get my post count up in order to post my parts. I have owned Fords since before I could drive. My first truck was a '77 F150 that started life with a straight 6 and three on the tree, when I sold it, it was powered by a 70-something 429 P.I. power plant. My next truck was a 1964 F100 4x4 that burned as much oil as it did gas so I yanked the Y-block out and put in a 390, 4bbl. That was my favorite truck, we put thousands of miles of desert dirt rods under that one until some drunk ran a stop light! Next truck was a 1994 F350 4x4 crew cab, long bed that turned out to be a Monday after a long weekend build at the factory. It was constantly broke so I unloaded that one on some kid that wanted to build a monster truck. Next was a 1996 F350 4x4 crew cab, long bed that really was a pretty good truck but I had a long commute to work during those years and 8 mpg just didn't cut it. The last two years I owned it I put less than 500 miles on it so I sold it to someone that would use it. That was in 2016, in Jan 2019 I started looking for another truck and finally found one in August. I now have a 2019 F250 XLT 4x4 crew cab with less than 20K miles on it.
