clutch slave cylinder problems

Our 1985 F-250 4 spd deisel is having problems with the clutch. The clutch pedal went to the floor and won't come up on its own. The slave cylinder was leaking. We have replaced the slave cylinder and line from the master cylinder. It still won't function properly. Is there something that we are missing or is the master cylinder need to be replaced as well. Any input is welcome. Thanks

It has been my luck or the customers luck that if one is bad the other will not support a new part. Replace both master and slave! NOTE: bench blead the master! I have not had any luck bleading them installed!

I have replaced just the slave before, just for the fact that they want to much dang money for that fony stinkin' set-up. They are definitely a pain in the butt to bleed but that is what it sounds like you need to do. But if money is not an issue buy'm both.
