Can you explain fused link a little more. Is it set up with toggle switch.
Sorry, didn't think to elaborate on that - hadn't had my second coffee yet! Mine is wired into a keyed 12V lead from my fuse panel, but I have a Painless Wiring harness & fuse box. If you still have the factory wiring,I can see how that might get tricky. Might have to tap into one of the wires from the ignition switch & use a relay.
I've used Holley red and Carter pumps. This is probably 13 years ago now and things may have changed but the Holley pumps were garbage. I had two and they averaged about 1000 miles each. The Carter is good. It might be this one, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/crt-p4594. I drive my truck daily and year round, from snow and ice of winter to blazing sun of summer and I need something that lasts for more than 1000 miles..
I can't help with specifics for this generation of truck, but my guess is that the frame rail will be about the only option for mounting.
