I'd like to do an ohm test on the glow plugs with the valve cover in place,. I bought the pig tail wire harness to make it easier to do an ohm test, Not having done this before, I'm asking for advice from the obs gurus. I don't want to short out anything..

my opinion on this is:
if you have questions on the reliability of the glow plugs because the engine is not starting rite, just change them.
it is cheap insurance.
