What do you mean By "goes dead". It dies while driving, or cranks but won't start, or ???? We need a bit more information about the problem.
Idle air control valves and O2 sensors don’t cause vehicles to cut out.
What did you do to come to that diagnosis? Any actual testing or mid-1990s style “fire the parts cannon” and hope something happens in your favor?
An engine needs fuel, spark and compression to run. What is missing here?
