1985 E350 460 main bearing
...just finished a 7k trip pulling a 12k lb RV and noticed some drops of oil coming from what appears to be the engine's main bearing. Can this bearing be changed without removing the engine? If not, what is a ball park figure to have this fixed? I also noticed while in the southwest with outside temps in the mid eighties that the floor got extremely hot but engine temps remained normal ... is this typical for an E350?
