Well,I've been a member at eBay for about 2 years. After about 100 positive feedbacks and a couple of negatives,I just can't stop.I first signed up to sell junk around the house, but now that the junk's FINALLY thinning out,I want to keep it up.I get a kick out of it.Does anyone know of anything that I could buy to sell?I was thinking of something on the lines of a steady internet-based business. But,I just can't think of anything that I could sell or even get in touch with manufacturers to get the items.I was thinking about CB's,but there's not much of a market for them. Then, there's CD Players, but then again, they're probably going to want you to have a store-front to do that stuff.I would really, really like to do guitars, but unfortunately,I don't have $20,000-$25,000 to put down as a deposit.Something that I could do is go out on Saturday's and hit the yard sales .Any ideas fellas?
A lot of guys go to scrap yards and pull parts and systems for trucks and sell them as complete packages for upgrades or replacements. Some of them even go so far as to provide instructions or diagrams for their stuff also.
you know...if you were famous, and you got some kind of object and used it in a publicized publicity stunt...you could make a lot of cash.
Say j-lo shows up at the oscars or something. She just looks at the camera, turns around and lifts her skirt up, revealing a thong and bends over for the camera. Great right? Ok, what if she sold the thong on ebay? i bet it would make at least 50 grand. Make her deliver it personally and all that to verify it.
Dosnt have to be as sexual of an act as that...but you get the idea.
I've seen old pickups in small towns sell for half the price they go for on Ebay, get yourself an old nice vehicle, put a little cash into it, detail it and put it on Ebay....Good turnover more than likely...
Thanks for the ideas fellas.I thought about selling the vehicles. It's something that I wouldn't mind doing, that's for sure.I'm gonna check into that.

Depending on what it is,such as a DVD or CD,I just throw it in a Bubble-Filled Manilia Mailer and take it to the post office. If it's a guitar or something like that,I just put it in a box and call UPS.
The important thing is to buy cheap and sell higher. So much of the stuff you can buy at yard sales is too high to make anything. If you would buy wholesale from places like goodwill, you can pay about $2 an item of clothing, which should sell higher.
Open an ebay store, at the lowest priced level, and list every bit of junk or cheap clothing in there. At 5 cents a listing you can manage with lower value or profit margins...
If you have a tax number or employer number, you can buy salvage or fire sale clothing, and household goods, that should sell high too.
Hmmmn, I've got a two car garage worth of used electronic test equipment. They weigh probably 10 to 50 or more pounds each. Some would be hard to get in a well protected carton, any ideas?
Do you have access to old magazines, like car mags, playboys, whatnot? I've seen them real cheap at flea markets.
Others on there sell home copies of stuff they taped off the TV, old reruns, wrestling tapes, etc. You should be very specific about the quality though. They also sell home-burned CD's but I don't think it's technically legal.
Other Bower was considering selling some of her bazillions of sharks teeth. They're cheap to ship, cost her nothing to find, and inlanders will pay a buck or three apiece for them, especially for making necklaces and stuff.
Just some thoughts.
Thanks again guys.We have a Goodwill store coming here pretty soon in the old Wal-Mart building.I think that I'll check 'em out when they come in .We've got one at Jackson,so I might just check and see what kinda deals they've got before I start buying/selling.
I've also got a 1977 Datsun pickup that I could part out.I don't believe there's much of a market for an old field beatin',4 banger Datsun. But then again ...

I was just looking at ebay and you'd never guess what I saw on there. Subway stamps. It sure would suck if the Subway stores enforced the redeem at the same store. Them little numbers on the stamps are stamp numbers and I like to say roll number or store number.
