Can anyone tell me the actual difference between the 2011-2016 AC3Z-5J213-C EGT Sensor and the newer HC3Z-5J213-B ? I do realize the C/B difference is the 'B' is an upgrade to 'C' (defies logic to me).
On a 2019 F350, I had a P264F code and verified EGT4 sensor was reading 180+ at 80 deg ambient whilst the others read 80-90, and 1400+ during Regen while EGT3 was at 1100. I had a AC3Z-5J213-C - not sure why - and since all but the first letter were different, I installed. So far so good. Reads close to the others now.
I have ordered the correct HC3Z-5J213-B part and will swap when it comes in, all my local dealers were out, but the older part seems to work fine. Am I safe to continue using this?
Also - dealer told me EGT 1,4 are this part number (HC3Z-5J213-B) but 2 & 3 are different. Does anyone have the part number for EGT 2 and 3?
