Coolant leak

Can someone tell me what the highlighted part is? I have a coolant leak dripping from the under side of the cover. Tried taking it apart but the bolts are corroded. Thanks I’m advance for any input.

A/C Evaporator. And no, there is no Coolant leaking from it. If there's coolant coming out of there, it's from the heater core, and you get at that from behind the glovebox.

Coolant is definitely leaking from that box. I assume that would only be possible from a leak in the heater core itself? The two connector hoses are not leaking.

I didn't say that coolant wasn't leaking from the box. I said it wasn't leaking from the Evaporator. There is no coolant in the Evaporator, unless somebody hooked something up VERY wrong. The only Engine Coolant inside that box, is in the heater core, which is accessed by taking the glovebox out. You can't get to the heater core, by splitting the box right there where you see the coolant leak.

If coolant is leaking out of there then, yes. The only part in there is the heater core which is located inside the cab behind the glove box. I can’t believe there isn’t coolant dripping on the passenger side floor.

Are you sure it coolant and not water? The AC evaporator collects moisture from the air and drains it from a tube near the wheel well into the ground. If the tube it clogged, it'll leak out of the seam in the box.
