Climate Control Question

Hi-

I was hoping you could all provide me with some information. When I plug my iPhone into my 2020 F-150 with the USB cord (CarPlay), it shows the apps of my phone on the display touchscreen, but for some reason, it won't allow me to control/adjust the climate control on the display touchscreen. The only way I can adjust the climate is through the buttons underneath the display touchscreen.

I can’t figure out how to get the climate control to show up on the display touchscreen when my iPhone is plugged in to my USB cord (CarPlay). Anyone else notice this?

If you think about it, this really makes sense because touch screen “climate controls” are not a part of the Apple CarPlay interface but, they are a part of the SYNC interface.

I’m not sure if it does but perhaps “wireless Apple CarPlay” would allow one to now use the touch screen climate controls when Apple CarPlay is engaged.
