Power stroke turbo's
Were all the 7.3 PSD's turbo's? I thought they came stock without, but a friend with a 99 7.3PSD says he is sure his is turbo and he thought they all were. (He is not much of a motor head and could not tell me if he has seen the turbo under the hood) I just bought a new F350 with 6.0 turbo PSD and thought it was the first factory PSD.

Just to confirm What was said before.
6.9L Navistar Only aftermarket turbo
7.3L IDI Untill late '93 Aftermarket only
7.3L IDI late '93-mid '94 Factory Turbo
7.3L POWERSTROKE Mid '94-end 0f 7.3 Factory Turbo
Basically, if it says PowerStroke, it is a turbo
6.9L Navistar Only aftermarket turbo
7.3L IDI Untill late '93 Aftermarket only
7.3L IDI late '93-mid '94 Factory Turbo
7.3L POWERSTROKE Mid '94-end 0f 7.3 Factory Turbo
Basically, if it says PowerStroke, it is a turbo

If its whistlin', its a turbo.
