1999 Ford E450 SD Winnebago Minnie. I've tried the on-line method of "turn key on . . . hit unlock 3 time", etc. and it isn't disabling the door locks. The vehicle does NOT have keyless entry. Anything I can do?
If that doesn't cut it, unfortunately I don't have any other advice that's solid. If you don't mind using your key, you could always just pull the fuse or unplug the power lock actuators. Sorry, that probably doesn't help you.
Sorry to hear that. Out of curiosity, have you experienced any other things controlled by the Security Control Module or Body Control Module not working properly? The reason I ask, is a while back on my '02, my auto-headlights stopped working. At the same time, my power locks stopped working and I think the power windows may have stopped also, but I can't remember precisely. I thought I was going to need to pay big money to the dealer to re-flash a module or two, or I was going to have to buy a new one. I tried just disconnecting the batteries, but that didn't do it. Thankfully, in the end, I got everything working again by unplugging the module (I think I did both the SCM and BCM) and letting them sit for a while, then plugged them back in. Fingers crossed that something like that might work for you.
I doubt it. This chassis is a bare bones truck. Has electric windows and doorlocks, but that's about it. No keyless entry, no auto windows or mirrors. I replaced the battery after I got it so the terminals have been disconnected. Just have to live with it I guess.
