Exhaust Manifold Replacement
My 2012 F250 has a cracked driver side manifold. Truck has 100,800 miles on it.
How difficult is it to replace if none of the studs break? A lot of hours?
The Ford manifold is about $130 plus gaskets, bolts and studs if needed

I did the passenger side on my 2011. I had to remove the wheel and tire and pull the inner fender out. I needed to loosen the driver's motor mount and remove the passenger side mount and drop both head pipes. I didn't brake any studs, but I had to jack the engine up quite a ways to get enough clearance to get the manifold between the studs and frame. I left the driver's side motor mount connected but lose that way when I jacked the passenger side it would pivot up on the passenger side. I bought a doorman manifold and gasket I also used some high temp silicone on both sides of the gasket to make sure it sealed well. The doorman manifold looked just like the factory Ford manifold that I took off except where the Ford part number was cast at on the doorman it had been ground off. I suspect they were both Ford manifolds.
