Need Help
The other day i was towing my fifth wheel home. When i parked the truck to disconnect my fifth wheel. After sitting about 5 minutes it decided not to start. Only reached 170 lbs at the icp and 77 at the ipr. I thought about the dreaded hot/ no start issue. well about 3 minutes later she cranked for about 4 seconds and started. ran fine all the way home and even restarted in the driveway. Since my oil and water did not have time to cool down do you think i have a oil leak? if so i have all the tools to check it but i am not very mechanically inclined. should i try to air test it or let the mechanic connect to my credit card. my rig is an 05 and bone stock. Just a little over 200000 miles. I have replacement icp and ipr but not installed yet. OEM filter and cap. even replaced the oil drian back valve but have another and may do it again since i have it. Any help would be appreciated.
