Ok I've got a dileama.....For the last week my Bronco has had a miss at idle and part throttle.It's not quite bad when you get on it past a point but I believe it's still there.Worked on it for most of the day today...Here's what I've covered so far........Checked fuel pressure at rail(32 or so running with regulator hooked up,unhook regulator it jumps about 10 psi)...Tried a known good test coil for no difference.Pulled codes from computer.....Only running codes I got were 25 and 44....25 was I think little or no response from Knock Sensor and 44 was Thermacor problem...The truck has had the air injection system removed before I got it so I can't see that being a problem.Disconnected the spout connector to see if it was the timing element of the module...I gave the truck plugs,wires,cap,rotor and fuel filter last weekend,it made no difference....This is driving me crazy and I'm a little concerned now at my lack of progress on the proplem....We sprayed carb cleaned around the intake area to check for leaks there....I found no broken or loose vacumn lines.....The IAC is acting up a little but with it working properly the miss is there still with no improvement....Any suggestions on where to go now please???.....Thanks for your time...I appreciate it.

 

I just recently started having the exact problem you described!!

I've replaced everything you replaced and I cannot figure out what the problem!! If anyone has any ideas please help.

 

I replaced the TFI module and the problem is solved.....I thought about it and figured it was either the TFI or the Pickup in the distributor...Glad I was right the first time.
