New Bronco - no instructions

My son has a new ('94) Bronco. The owners' manual appears to have everything EXCEPT the electronics guide. We can't figure out how to reset the preset buttons. There's currently only two kinds of music on the presets - country and western. That doesn't bother me, but he would like his own presets.

I know it's probably simple - can anyone help us out?

Thanks, Broncr & Son (that would make him SOB)

usually you just tune to the desired station you like, and hold down the preset button you want to program for like 2 or 3 seconds

If that doesn't work some times after you hold the button down (for the desired station) for a few seconds you get a beep and u need to press the button again. That confirms the new station.

Whats the system in the bronco? I know in my 96 bronco, I had the stock cassete player, and all I had to do was hold the desired preset for a few seconds to set it.

It should be the same stereo I had in my older (91 and 92 model) trucks....hold down the button for a few seconds it will go quiet and then start playin again, when it has started playing again that means it has set that stationas that preset.

The "hold down " method worked - I think. My son tried it & said he got it to work.

thanks, Broncr & son
