I recently picked up an 86 B2 XLS and had the A4LD transmission rebuilt at a local shop. They did an excellent job but the plastic retainer on the kick-down cable broke during reassembly. They've glued it and it may last, but for my piece of mind I need a good one and I'll use the existing as backup.
From reading other posts I know these are no longer available from Ford. I know this one is different from the 88 model which is available. I couldn't find a part number - can anyone provide it?
Any suggestions on where to find one other than the local salvage yards?
