A/C compressor won't engage
I have been very hesitant to post this because I was thinking there's got to already be a thread explaining this, but I haven't found it.. so here's goes..
I've got a 2000 Excursion with a v10. The clutch will not engage on my A/C compressor. I have power at high and low sensors, the relay clicks with input and when I jump the powersource from the relay to the compressor, the clutch engages and compressor clicks on. So the sensors, PCM and relay is good right? What else could possibly be in line that's blocking the power from getting to the compressor? Besides a broken wire.. but all of the wires are still in the factory harnesses. Is there a linkable fuse? I can't find a schematic.. if someone has one so I can feed myself, I'd be appreciative.
Thanks for your help.

I know this is years later but I just wanted to let you know.. the problem I was having was a stupid tune from five star tunes. It was making the ECU mad and preventing the compressor from engaging to save power.
Thanks for the followup! Guess I'll have to ask about tunes in the future. Just ran into another 5Start tune problem on an F53 motorhome.
