Like that molding Our 70 we brought back from Ohio, the previous owner took all the molding off and just covered the holes with duct tape and painted over them Probably never will get around to finishing that 70.

Morning all NY and newbees to the Empire State. Nice looking '70 Ranger there, Makery. What do we call you? Can't be using that title all the time ! Welcome to FTE and the NY Chapter .

Nice to have this cooler air arrive in the Mid-Atlantic ! Hope it's nice in NY too this day. Enjoy.

Morning everyone and I hope that your Friday Eve is going well. Loving the cooler weather and by the looks of it, some of the areas in the Southern Tier could see the upper 40's for lows the next few days. I also noticed on my way to the office, there are some tell tale signs that fall is not too far away. Noticed a few trees that are already starting to show some color which it does this time of the year,

My actual name is Tim. I've been called worse, but that my name! Hello everyone haha This 70 was sourced by a local dealer that goes south to visit his dad, and makes the trip down w an empty car trailer. He always comes back with gems. Our town is lucky to have him! I'm in Homer, NY

Tim, nice to have you around. My wife has family down in Homer so I am familiar with the area.

Hi Tim I think during the last 20 plus years, I've brought over 25 vehicles up from Virginia and N Carolina.

Back from a nearby food give away. Wife helps her friend get some stuff, then we take her to her house, then to her grand daughters to drop off the goodies.
Now off to Seneca Falls to get the 09 Grand Marquis inspected and a couple of tires for the trailer.

A whole 2096 miles on the GM inspection to inspection. Unfortunately wife wanted to go shopping

Hey, Tim. Forgot to mention that there is another 70 about a mile from me. A red 3/4 ton with an 8 ft stepside bed. Real nice shape. So that's 2 70's within a mile. I also have a 70 F-600 cab that I went to Long Island to get. Parts is parts.

Great job on the video Tim...love the nice crusty patina. Do you plan to keep it that way or are you going to pretty it up??? Our newest MA Member...mhackney...just picked up a '65. You can check it out here...

Hello from MA - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com)
Thanks! I'm definately keeping the patina. Linseed oil eventually. Carpet and seat apoulstry arrives tomorrow along with door lock cylinders and other essentials. I already have the full weatherstripping kit, so I'll pull the seat, sill mouldings, and do it all in one shot. I can't justify $500 and change for a new dash pad though. I just can't.
That patina on the 65 is spot-on gorgeous
