Long time lurker
Been using this site for years to diagnose and fix problems. Finally decided to join up.

I have a 98 F-150 XL 4x4 regular cab short bed with a 5.4, E4OD, and 9.75 rear axle with 3.55’s. AC, crank windows, manual locks, rubber floor, vinyl bench. Seems like an oddly optioned truck and I’ve never seen another like it. It’s a hell of a unit.

Welcome to FTE. Oddly option is a good description. Big engine/tranny but everything else, except the air, is base line stuff. Looks solid.

Well, now that you joined the site, have you joined your state chapter?
