This is on my dad's 93 F150. I ussually stay in the 67-72 section but figured I'd take a look up here for some help.
A while back he's drivers side window stopped going up without help. Acted like the gears were stripped. I bought a rebuild kit, drilled out the rivits and replaced the gears. Cleaned everything up and put it back together and it worked like a charm.. for 4 days. Now it's right back to square one. Is this a common problem? Is there something else I need to do besides the gear change?
Thanks for any help
Clint
