6-Speed drive train issue finally resolved....
Issue: Since new, the truck would always make the sound of a metal rumble sound beneath the truck and also cause a vibration in the floor on the passenger side. This only occurred when shifting (automatic) from 2nd to 3rd gear around 1200 rpms.
Diagnostics: The local Ford Service Department at first could not recreate the issue. I had to go in and drive the vehicle to reproduce the sound. The service tech believed at first the same as me that it was an issue coming from the transmission or torque converter. He ran a bunch of diagnostics and placed sound sensors on the listed areas but was unable to find the issue. He contacted the engineers at Ford and was discussing this with them. At first, they were unable to provide an answer until another engineer came into the discussion and was able to identify the issue (see the SSM below).
"SSM 50138 - 2021-2022 F-250 - 4WD - 6R100 - 3.73 Axle - Metallic Grinding Noise Under Light Acceleration Between 23-33 MPH (37-53 Km/h) - Built On Or After 01-Feb-2021 Some 2021-2022 F-250 vehicles equipped with a 6R100 transmission, four-wheel drive (4WD), 3.73 rear axle ratio, and built on or after 01-Feb-2021 may exhibit a metallic grinding noise from the rear of the vehicle under light acceleration between 23-33 mph (37-53 Km/h). The noise is most prevalent in 3rd and 4th gear when the vehicle is warm. This may be due to normal driveline noise transmitting through the driveshaft. To correct the condition, replace the rear axle drive pinion flange using service part number HC3Z-4851-A. Also, replace the rear pinion seal. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-02. For claiming, use causal part 4851 and applicable labor operations in Section 04 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. APPLICABLE VEHICLES 2021 TRUCK: FE P558N SUPER DUTY 2022 TRUCK: FE P558N SUPER DUTY"
The issue in the SSM did not apply to my axle ratio (4.30).
The technician replaced the rear axle drive pinion flange the rear pinion seal and the issue is now resolved.
Apparently this SSM has a TSB identifier of TSB 22-2199

Guess I missed that. I had not noticed a resolution to this issue. Will definitely pay a visit to the dealer soon.
Thanks.
