Funny you should mention brakes and bearings. I had another post about vibration ever since I had my bearings, rotors, and pads replaced. Turns out they left the nut loose, the one just after the cotter pin. Had terrible ride for 5k miles and made my tires wavy. Going to replace tires, do some burnouts or patiently wait for them to fix themselves with rotations.
Amen.
Try to do everything yourself, if you can afford the time. Last year at my son’s wedding, I was elected as part of the caravan from one venue to another because of the seating capacity. All of a sudden the front end wanted to dive into the curve. When I got home, the right camber/caster bushing was MIA. The idiot at the shop, I used to go to, didn’t torque it.
Unbelievable. The worst part is I took it back to the shop twice and they said everything was good they just rebalanced the tires. The 2 other shops couldn't find anything. Just laziness on their part, its like if the scanner doesn't point them directly to the issue, they just move on.
Anyway, that's my rant. I'm glad my ac issue was fixed.
