My grandpa was the original owner, bought it back in 69. It was given to me and I’m trying to stumble my way through fixing it up. I got it running good and now I’m looking to lower it. I know there’s a lot of threads in here about this but it’s kind of overwhelming at times. I found this and was curious if anyone has bought and installed it. Just looking for feed back or even alternatives.
Hi Jdawg, do you have twin I-beams on your 68? I've seen lowering kits for that set up and many more on LMC's website and in their catalog. If you don't have a LMC Catalog request one! They're a textbook as much as a way to buy parts. I've had more than one "OH THAT'S what that is" moments flipping through the pages 🤙 Cool back story on the truck! Good luck with the project. In my research thus far, drop beams are needed to lower twin I-beam suspensions.
