Need Advice
I've been preparing to order my '04 f-350 lariat for months now. I'll do anything to avoid car lots. I was going to order through carsdirect .com. They let you build your truck and give their rock bottom price and have it delivered to your nearest dealer, no haggeling. My dilemma is this; I want a fully loaded lariat but also want the painted bumpers, door handles, and grille. Found out you have to order the sport package to get that option. A salesman told me no problem just order the sport and add everything else. This scenario screws up my apples to apples estimating because things like the overhead console, and wood-grain pieces on the dash aren't listed on the option list. And to make matters worse, they say that you can't get the parchment leather in the sport package ( what i want). Seems too logical to me that you should be able to order the lariat and have the factory bolt on the painted bumpers, grille, etc.
Can anyone help me as I am now confused. All I want is to pay the lowest price with no haggeling.
