Missing 292
I own a 62 F100 with a 292 V8 that has a rebuilt 2 barrel carburetor. The carb has a manual choke. I very recently replaced the fuel pump because I thought it was failing. I also replaced the gasket between the spacer and the intake. The distributor has been converted to electronics. The gas tank is new. Gas is fresh and plugs and wires have been replaced. Up until recently starting was easy but recently when I try starting it runs with a bad miss until I try to start it 4-6 times. Then it runs and drives smoothly. If I shut it down sometimes I have to go through the whole sequence again before it starts.
