22 F250 with factory halogen that I replaced with Auxito LED. When I start the truck during the day the headlights are not on but if I use the Flash to Pass feature the headlights come on High and stay on. I have to rotate the headlight switch to Off then back to Auto to turn them off.
Did your LED bulbs come with a power converter to go between the bulb and truck harness? If not, then that's likely causing trouble. If you don't have the converter harness, try setting the headlight type from halogen to LED using FORSCAN software and cycle the ignition before trying again. Good luck.
If I were you, I would return the LED headlights back to where you bought them from and buy ones that actually do work without causing problems. My LED conversion worked A-OK. It's not an OEM LED conversion and it's not expensive.
I did the halogen to LED conversion a couple of weeks ago using an Headlight Experts kit. Their kit is lifetime warranted and per their advice, I included the $10 optional Warning cancellers / capacitors. The kit that I installed is on sale for $99.99 + $10 and I used the discount code 10PERCENT. Two of these kits are required for a '17-'22 Superduty with halogen headlights. Shipping was free and quick.
Installation was easy once I removed the headlight housings from the truck. The light produced is white, not amber like the OEM bulbs and makes it easier to see deer. Oncoming traffic does not bright light me thinking that I am using my high beams. The automatic high beans are not adversely affected and I received no headlamp warnings from the control module.
I'll be converting my fog lights to OEM LED units and reprogramming the control module using Forscan in the next few days. I converted my Nissan Altima and just received a set for my Suburban. Next I'll convert my Kawasaki. The only down side is that I can hear the little fans in the bulbs when the windows are down and the engine is not running.
