PCV Valve
Hope you can help. My 1991 F-150 has a 351 EFI Motor. I want to change the PCV valve. The problem is, it is covered up by the induction and you can't back it out. There must be an easy way to change this valve. What am I missing here?
Thanks
I know it's in a heck of a place to get to but you should be able to reach in there and pull the PCV up. If it's stuck try spraying some lubricant in there and let it sit then try later.
It was on the back side of the motor between the firewall. The bottom connects to a s shaped hose that fits in somewhere back there and the top goes out 90 to the left side of the engine. If you can get the top hose off you should be able to pull the PCV and the hose UP out of the pressed fit (like a regular pcv valve only with a hose on it) Of course, I did not know that until after I got the lower hose off the pcv and it fell on the tranny!
At least that is how it was on my 95.
Good luck!
