Maxi Fuses for 2003 Ford E350 power distribution box

I have a 2003 E350 van and need spare replacement maxi fuses for the power distribution box under the hood. Are all maxi fuses the same size? I found maxi fuses for sale on ebay and want to make sure that I order the correct size. I need a 30 amp fuse as a spare.

That's essentially true but look at the amperage rating of those you'd buy---that tend to dictate their size to a degree. Littlefuse and Buss both have pages on their sites detailing physical size of the blade type fuses.

Little Fuse

Thanks for the replies!

I pull the 30 A Maxi fuse for the fuel pump relay to protect my van from theft when it's parked long-term. The only risk I see doing this is dropping it and not being able to recover it. Thieves know about toggle kill switches. I made a kill switch connected to a relay and I incorrectly wired it to the alternator and it caused the alternator to not work. It sure killed the vehicle.

FleaBay sells LIttleFuse 30 amp fuses that will drop right into the power distribution box.

Since you're already pulling fuses from the under hood Power Distribution fuse box (aka battery junction box) find and remove the starter circuit fuse as well. An unaware thief who's in a hurry might be stymied by the starter not engaging when/if the ignition key lock cylinder is compromised.

Find that fuse via your owner's manual or an EVTM if you have one.
