12 Inch Screen Brightness?

12 Inch Screen Brightness?
Is there an operator adjustment on the twelve inch screen in the new F series? Or will I be faced with bright and brighter.? My Lariat is being built this week according to Ford.

Congrats on getting your Lariat built -- I hope you are driving it soon!
You can adjust the brighness of the 12 inch SYNC 4 LCD panel, but the manual is no help because it doesn't mention this. It's the same control as for the "Instrument Cluster" (speedometer etc.) and the ambient lighting -- the busy-looking +/- buttons just to the right of the headlamp control dial, which itself is to the left of the steering wheel. (Manual page 158: "ADJUSTING THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTING BRIGHTNESS"; which again, does not mention the 12 inch panel specifically.)
Once you know this, the icon on the buttons make "perfect" sense: tiny speedometer w/tinier lightbulb and +/- symbols.
