Exclamation 1998 E350 5.4L box truck

Hello, I recently purchased a 98 Ford E35 econoline 5.4L box truck to do moving with in my company. It has quite a few issues I'd like to get addressed, but first and foremost I need new rear brakes, probably calipers, pads and rotors. So I'd like to pre-order the parts for it. Could someone help me with part numbers?
Is this video accurate, is this what the mechanic would have to go through to replace all brake components on the back wheels?

Also when shopping for parts, I like to use Rockauto, so it is accurate to shop for 98 Ford E350 5.4L or 98 Ford Econoline super duty 5.4L ?

Second urgent repair would be the side mirrors, they are flimsy and cracked, they are the original ones that have metal 3 point attachment to the middle of the door and everything is rusted out and falling apart so I'd like to replace those, but I'm not sure which ones to order, this is what it currently has

And this is what I am hoping to replace them with, but not sure which would fit, or they both will?

But the attaching points don't seem to be the same, so I am confused which one would fit or they both would?

I'd really appreciate the help with this as I'd like to order the parts as soon as possible, thank you!

I would advise against using RockAuto for brake parts especially for what's essentially a cab/chassis E-Series. As such it may not conform to parts selections as easily as the full bodied versions. In order of preference I myself use Ford OEM parts first, NAPA "gold" stuff next. Having used Advanced Auto Wearever brake parts they're not bad for budget friendly stuff AND they're local.

RockAuto seems cheap at first until you run into an issue with wrong parts sent or otherwise having to return or exchange something. Since you're already questioning which standard configuration E-Series would be right for you project is a nameless faceless online outfit really your best source?

The first Amazon link are a direct fit bolt-on choice but the second set would require modifying your existing door shell for the different mounting base. For a box truck the "west coast" mirrors in your CarID link would be the better choice.

You'll get a few replies saying RockAuto is great BUT look deeper into the problems others have encountered dealing with them after the sale.

Good luck, hope this helps!

Thank you, the problem with the current west coast mirrors is that they are cracked and also the mounting points are rusty and falling apart, so even if I bought new ones I would have problem mounting them. I feel like the second link would be really neat replacement if possible to mount them, they seem to be wide enough also to have a good view behind me as the box is wider than the cab.

I have a Ford E350 van and was advised by a friction engineer on the diesel forum to use Performance Friction Corporation brake pads. I use Ford OEM rotors and brake calipers. I run my van fully loaded with camping gear and drive down steep grades. After making the switch this year to PFC brakes, I had no more smoking brake pad issues on mountain grades. Ford OEM brake pads did not work as well for me.

I suppose you haven’t had them long enough to measure but in my mind more stopping power and pads last longer means rotors don’t last as long by warping from heat or wearing. Not that it’s a bad thing. The important thing is to stop.

The door shells will require modifying for these to fit securely.
