Fresh off the block!
Hey yall! New to this forum, but not the format, so lets get right down to it, hey? I’m a college student from North Dakota going into Diesel Mechanics for CAT. Family has owned nothing but Ford pickups, so I’m blue through and through (except when it comes to engines, obviously). And I, as a college student, am making the remarkably bad decision to purchase a medium duty diesel pickup to haul my toolbox back and forth from school to my internship. With this decision in mind, I figured it best to know as much about the prospective vehicle before purchasing, and what better place than a forum filled with guys (and gals!) who have owned, worked on, and driven them for longer than I have been alive? So, with that complete, I’ll head over to the 6.9/7.3 IDI section and post there, too!
