Taillight problem

Hello all, 68 f100 all turn signals work, all brakes lights work but the left rear taillight doesn’t work. I cleaned to the connectors to the housing, changed bulb, tried another housing but when that went on the turn signal on that same side now didn’t work so I put the original housing back in. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check all the wires for cracks or loose connections........look for grounds............if one taillight works the other should so must be a bad connection somewhere........

If you're referring to the backup/reverse light, I just had the same problem on my 68 F100 and it was just a bad ground connection from all the oxidation around the screws and rivets of the housing. I'd try cleaning those screws and ensure a good ground connection, specifically on the lower screw. Good luck.
